This kit will help you keep your edible garden full all year. It includes three plastic trays – one with thirty small black plastic pots (5x5x8cm) and two trays each with  twelve larger red plastic pots (8x8x10cm). Fill the pots with potting mix, sow your selection of seeds and keep them somewhere bright and moist. When you’ve planted out your seedlings, sow your next ones straight away. It gives you control over what you plant and when, saves you money on your seedlings and you’ll get a much bigger choice of varieties. Grow some with a group of friends and swap them to get even more choices.

The individual pots are bigger than the usual six-seedling punnets. That gives the seedlings’ roots more space to grow and you more time before you have to transplant them. Plus in summer they don’t dry out as quickly so don’t get as stressed. Keeping them in a tray makes them easy to move into the shade or out of (or into) the rain.

I’ll include detailed notes from my seed sowing course to give you tips on how to sow seeds successfully and what to sow when. Plus typical plant spacings and where to source your seeds. Kings Seeds make it easy for you with their seed selections.
