Ten crops to sow now

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Choose five (or even just two) that appeal and get them sown this week. We have a saying in our household that seeds are ‘ineffective if left in packet’. If you prefer you can buy seedlings from the Farmers’ Market or a garden centre, although radishes, coriander and beetroot all work much better sown direct. Radish tops can go into smoothies for extra greens so you can have radishes for breakfast and lunch.

  1. Lettuce
  2. Pak choi
  3. Spring onions
  4. Rocket
  5. Mizuna
  6. Radishes
  7. Coriander
  8. Silverbeet
  9. Beetroot
  10. Peas
